Event Information
G3ict and the International Association of Accessibility Professionals host the 14th annual M-Enabling Summit in the Washington, D.C. area, running October 5 through 7. The organizers describe the summit as their flagship gathering on accessible technology, focused on digital accessibility and inclusive design across sectors.
Sessions examine emerging technologies, evolving regulations, and practices shaping how digital tools are made accessible, with attention to how developments like AI-driven interfaces, automation, immersive environments, and connected home and city systems affect people with disabilities and older adults. In past years, the format has included an innovation showcase, more than 40 thematic sessions, plenary keynotes, roundtables, fireside chats, lightning talks, and IAAP-led technical briefings and workshops. The professional track draws on IAAP's community of certified accessibility practitioners.
The summit runs in a hybrid format, so community members can take part in person at the venue in Arlington or join sessions remotely.
