Amazon’s new Fire TV models introduce a built-in feature called "Dialogue Boost", which is designed to make spoken dialogue easier to hear over background music and sound effects. The feature uses artificial intelligence to identify when speech is difficult to separate and automatically increases voice clarity relative to other audio elements. This feature could benefit users regardless of their audio setup, whether they use a surround sound system or standard TV speakers.
Dialogue Boost was previously available only for select Prime Video content but is now integrated directly into Fire TV devices, expanding its reach to all programming and device lineup. Users can turn the feature on through the audio settings and choose from different enhancement levels, such as medium or high. The update helps address one of the most common frustrations among viewers (when dialogue becomes lost under loud background tracks) by offering a more balanced and accessible listening experience.
