The 2025 Hearing Technology Innovator Awards recognized a wide range of advancements across hearing aids, implants, diagnostics, therapeutics, and assistive technology. Hosted by Hearing Health and Technology Matters (HHTM), the annual award celebrates innovation, effectiveness, and accessibility in hearing care. According to HHTM's criteria, this year’s winners reflected the growing diversity of hearing solutions, from over-the-counter devices and auditory implants to mobile testing tools, captioning software, and new service delivery models.
The awards hone in on how the industry is moving toward more user-friendly and technology-integrated hearing solutions. Among the winners, Nuance Audio received the Innovator of the Year distinction for its Nuance Audio Glasses, which combine hearing-aid functionality with a wearable eyeglass design.
Since launching in 2020, the Innovator Awards program has also contributed more than $35,000 to hearing-related nonprofits including HLAA, the Hearing Health Foundation, Stop the Ring, Sound WRX, and the Joyful Life Cochlear Implant Fund.
