Oticon has introduced Reveal, a new premium hearing aid the company describes as a dual artificial intelligence system. The device was announced early August and became available to order on August 24, with a rollout across major markets during the third quarter of 2026.
Rather than using a single system to manage the sound environment, Reveal uses two that operate at the same time: one intended to identify and enhance the speech of people nearby, and another intended to recognize and balance surrounding sounds rather than filtering them out. According to Oticon, the goal is to keep speech clear while preserving the wider sound environment, which the company frames as supporting the brain's natural processing of sound. Oticon cites internal research reporting a stronger measured brain response compared with its previous generation.
The hearing aid is a rechargeable miniRITE style and supports Bluetooth LE Audio, including Auracast broadcast audio, along with "Made for iPhone" and Android connectivity. They also introduced an updated feedback management system intended to reduce whistling.
The performance figures for Reveal come from Oticon's own research briefs and technical papers rather than independent studies. Independent evaluations were not available at the time of the announcement. As with any hearing aid, the appropriate device depends on an individual's hearing needs, and selection is best made with a hearing care professional.
