Hearing Health Foundation Emerging Research Grants Supporting Hearing and Balance Science

The Hearing Health Foundation funds research through its Emerging Research Grants (ERG) program, which awards seed money to scientists studying hearing and balance science and related conditions. The program supports a wide range of topics including the physiology of hearing and balance, epidemiology of auditory and vestibular disorders, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of hearing loss, genetics, therapies at the cellular and molecular level, and innovation in auditory implants and hearing aids.

One specific award within the program, the Elizabeth M. Keithley, Ph.D. Early Stage Investigator Award, is available to early-stage investigators who are within ten years of their terminal degree or medical residency and meet additional eligibility criteria. Researchers interested in applying are advised to review the foundation’s grant policy and check application cycle dates and requirements.
