Oticon to Feature Zeal Hearing Aid and Auracast Demonstrations at AAA 2026

Oticon announced it will feature its new Zeal hearing aid at the American Academy of Audiology 2026 annual convention, taking place April 22–25 in San Antonio. Zeal is described as an in-the-ear hearing aid that combines rechargeable functionality, Bluetooth connectivity, and audio streaming in a small form factor. The announcement also describes Auracast broadcast audio demonstrations at the Oticon booth, allowing attendees to test audio streaming to hearing devices without device pairing.

Additional planned exhibits include new rechargeable pediatric hearing solutions with second-generation AI sound processing, an introduction of new additions to the Oticon Intent family, and sessions covering government services options under the Veterans Administration hearing instrument contract. On April 24, Oticon President Michael Lamberson will present a $30,000 contribution to the AAA Foundation for the 2026 Empowering Students Scholarships.

These announcements are based on company press materials ahead of the convention. Product availability information for Zeal and the pediatric solutions was not specified in the announcements.
