International Hearing Society Marks 75th Anniversary
The International Hearing Society (IHS), a membership organization representing hearing healthcare professionals including hearing aid specialists, is marking its 75th anniversary in 2026. The IHS was founded in 1951. The anniversary is being observed under the theme "Uniting Generations, Advancing Hearing Care." The organization is inviting members to contribute stories, photos, and historical materials throughout the year. Anniversary activities will culminate at the IHS 2026 Conference and Expo in Washington, D.C., scheduled for August 12–15.
