InnoCaption recently launched InnoCaption Video, a new app that provides live captions during video calls for people with hearing loss. The app is designed for platforms and situations where existing captioning tools are insufficient. Separately, InnoCaption received FCC certification for IP Relay service in December 2024, expanding its coverage beyond captioned telephone calls. IP Relay allows users to type their side of a phone conversation while the other party's spoken words are typed back, making the service accessible to users who do not use their own voice on calls.
InnoCaption's services remain available at no cost to eligible U.S. users with hearing loss through FCC certification. The company also offers an AI Refine feature that generates response suggestions during calls, which may be useful for users managing communication in real time.
