Starkey has introduced Omega AI+, its newest flagship prescription hearing aid family, announced October 1. The platform is built on a new processing chip the company calls the G4 Gen AI Neuro Processor and uses four deep neural networks that work together to manage different aspects of the sound environment. It follows the Omega AI platform Starkey introduced in October 2025.
According to Starkey, Omega AI+ adds AI-controlled compression, an updated noise and feedback management system, and expanded AI-powered features across more device styles, including custom in-the-ear models. It supports Auracast broadcast audio and adds wellness features, including sleep quality tracking. The company states that rechargeable models provide up to 51 hours of battery life. Omega AI+ is available in receiver-in-canal and custom styles across three technology levels.
Performance claims, including processing-speed comparisons, come from Starkey’s own testing rather than independent evaluation. Omega AI+ is a prescription hearing aid fitted and programmed by a hearing care professional, and features vary by model and technology level.
