The Investigator Research Grant isbeing offered by the American Academy of Audiology and the American Academy of Audiology Foundation to support one-year research projects in hearing and balance science, whether basic or clinical. Grants of up to $20,000 are awarded based on the project’s quality and relevance to improving evaluation or management of hearing loss and balance disorders.
Priority is given to proposals that show an academic-clinical partnership and focus on hearing screening’s effect on health or on patient safety and access to audiology services. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in audiology or hearing science and be affiliated with a non-profit institution in the United States or Canada. The 2026 application deadline is January 31, 2026.
