Real-World Auracast Deployments Highlight Growing Use of Broadcast Audio Technology

Bluetooth has released several case studies highlighting how Auracast, its new broadcast audio feature built on Bluetooth LE Audio, is being used in real-world settings. Auracast is intended to improve audio accessibility and user experience by offering clearer sound, simplified installation, and more flexible use compared to older systems like hearing loops.

Examples of deployments include the Sydney Opera House, where audiences experienced improved stereo sound; the University of the Arts London, which set up the system in classrooms to support students with hearing loss; and GodFirst Church in the UK, which adopted the technology as an alternative to traditional loop systems. These case studies demonstrate how Auracast could be implemented across various environments to support better audio access.
