Oticon Reveal and Zeal Drive Strong Hearing Aid Sales, Demant Reports

Demant, the Danish parent company of Oticon, Bernafon, and HearingLife, reported that its hearing aid sales grew sharply in the third quarter of 2026, which the company attributes to two newer Oticon products. In the preliminary figures, Demant reported 17 percent organic growth in hearing aid revenue.

The two products represent different approaches to hearing aid design. Oticon Reveal, launched in the US in August, is the company’s newest flagship platform, built around an AI-based sound processing system. Oticon Zeal, launched in January, is a rechargeable in-the-ear device the company has positioned around a discreet, nearly invisible form factor. Demant noted that Zeal contributed to a shift toward higher-priced devices in its sales mix, and that the two products give hearing care professionals options in two distinct form factors, a discreet in-the-ear device and a flagship behind-the-ear AI platform.

Demant also pointed to a broader trend, estimating that the global hearing aid market grew roughly 6 to 7 percent in value during the quarter. The company’s commentary, and separate analyst coverage, framed 2026 as a period of intensified competition among the largest hearing aid manufacturers, with Demant, GN, and Sonova all introducing new AI-focused products.
