The National Association of the Deaf holds its 58th Biennial Conference in San Francisco from June 30 through July 5, 2026. The NAD Biennial Conference is the organization's primary national gathering, bringing together Deaf, hard of hearing, and DeafBlind community members, sign language interpreters, educators, advocates, and policy stakeholders.
The conference opens June 30 with an NAD Board meeting open to all attendees. July 1 convenes the Council of Representatives, which includes delegates from state associations and affiliate organizations, followed by the Opening Ceremony. Throughout the week, the conference offers workshops, training sessions, and an exhibit hall featuring products, services, and resources relevant to the Deaf and hard of hearing community. Workshop sessions qualify for RID continuing education units.
Topics span advocacy, education, employment, healthcare access, technology, and policy affecting Deaf and hard of hearing communities. Sessions are conducted primarily in American Sign Language.
